How did this proposal come about and why is it structured this way?
Southern Piedmont Materials is actively raising capital to accelerate the generation of profits for the Kingdom of God. Originally our intention was to self fund along with our 1027 partner as we have been doing for the last twelve years, including a multi-million dollar investment in Research & Development, however we have been instructed to “go bigger” and “move our feet”. This proposal was developed following the clear guidance of the Lord. First and foremost, He made it clear that we were not to divide the mineral rights or offer shares, making us wonder how we could raise the funds needed to proceed. He then gave us this proposal that would allow us to stay within His will. We were introduced to the idea that like-minded Christians, the faithful who are already funding good works, would be His army of Kingdom Builders to make this endeavor successful. Fully embracing this direction, we began obtaining five-year loans from these Kingdom Builders that God touched and led to participate. These loans have a balloon payment at the end of the five years, using the mineral rights as collateral. The Lord showed us how to use the value of the mineral rights without dividing them, with His promise that the rights will stay intact. God revealed to us that each person that is led to participate would set the amount of their loan based on what they hear from Him. He didn’t want us to have investors, he wanted us to build a team of His Kingdom Builders that would direct the giving of profits, a team that stays and prays together over the life of the project. He directed us to bless each Kingdom Builder’s home church with an annual donation over the life of the project. Every year that the Kingdom Builder participates as God desires, a donation matching the initial loan will be given to their church or designated Christian charity. We thought we had the perfect proposal, but God wasn’t done, he wanted us to give a matching gift to the Kingdom Builder each year. After much prayer and questioning, and frankly some pushback, God revealed His purpose for this direction. “Get this money into the hands of the Christians and they will know what to do with it”. God has corrected our thinking and in doing so, He has revealed that the people He leads to us will play an amazing role in the great awakening, and the expansion of His Kingdom.
