In early 2004, 1027 Processing discovered micron gold in the Verbena area. After more prospecting and testing, they located 59 similar deposits on over 40,000 acres within a 100-mile radius, all in the Alabama Gold Belt region. The complex form of micron gold was in fact remaining in the deposits but the process to economically recover this tiny form of gold did not exist. Because of the financial benefits connected to solving this problem 1027 devoted a significant amount of resources to develop the extraction technology that could economically extract micron gold. After 18 years of intense dedication and a lot of expended resources an astonishing success was achieved that will allow us to exploit these deposits. Our Flagship Project, the Verbena Project, is the first property that we are developing in Alabama. We intend to reserve a portion of the profits from this operation to use for Mine Development on some of the prime properties included in this inventory.
